<p>2. Do one hour of cardio at least 4 times per week</p>

<p>5. Owens only strength trains 4 times per week</p>

<p>The Terrell Owens workout routine is not your typical &#8220;no pain &#8212; no gain&#8221; training program. Because as a football player he has sustained many injuries during his career&#8211; the emphasis is on safe but rapid strength and muscle gains.</p>

<p>The Terrell Owens diet is one of the main reasons for his incredible ripped, muscularity. At 6 foot 3 and 218 pounds of lean muscle mass&#8211; it is very important that he eats correctly.</p>
<p>TO normally eats 5 to 6 meals consisting mainly of&#8230; salmon and chicken breasts. Spinach and broccoli are another favorite of his.</p>
<p>Recently Terrell owns was asked about his diet. Here&#8217;s what he said regarding his eating habits&#8230; &#8220;I had to learn not to eat just to get full, learn to eat 4 to 5 meals a day. Eating more often speeds up your metabolism.&#8221; TO also likes to do yoga, typically he stretches for 10 to 15 minutes before a game or practice session.</p>

<p>At one time the $70 million New York Pierre three-floor penthouse was considered among the most expensive homes in the world. Designed to resemble a French chateau it has spectacular views of Manhattan, Central Park, the East River and the Hudson River.</p>
<p>Now, this home is about to be dwarfed in size and in price by the new $2 billion custom home being built for Nita<span id="more-62"></span> and Mukesh Ambani, an India based oil baron, and at last count, fifth richest man in the world. Given declining prices of petrol recently, I wonder if this has delayed their decision to build.</p>
<p>In any event, the couple and their three children will be up-sizing from their current 22-story Mumbai tower to a 27-story, 400,000 square foot home, designed by Perkins, Will and Hirsch Bedner Associates; the designers of the Mandarin Oriental in Dallas, Los Angeles and New York.</p>
<p>Part of the high price tag is a result of the degree of customization on every floor; unlike an office building or a hotel, where each floor is replicated. In fact, no two floors will be alike in either plans or materials. If a specific wood or crystal is used on the 7th floor, it won&#8217;t be repeated on any subsequent levels.</p>
<p>Here are some of the not-so-standard amenities featured in this home, from the ground up:</p>
<p>Parking: The first six floors will accommodate parking for visitors and relatives that refuse to leave. The exterior walls are covered by hanging plants intended to absorb heat and sunlight and keep the structure cooler.</p>
<p>Lobby: The lobby compares to most grand hotels, containing nine elevators, reception areas, washrooms and access to stairways, parking and ballroom.</p>
<p>Ballroom: Now this is a place to throw a party with crystal chandeliers hanging from 80% of the ceiling and lavish silver stairways. The kitchen can serve hundreds of guests and is virtually the same size as the ballroom.</p>
<p>Lounge: There are lounges peppered throughout the floors, some with a more traditional design using elaborate mirrors and chandeliers, and others with a more modern style. In any event, if one of the Ambani&#8217;s or their guests feels the need to just hang out for awhile, they can grab one of the lounges.</p>
<p>Entertainment Floor: All theaters should look like this. Seating for dozens of people, separate wine room, snack bar, couches and tables provides a comfortable atmosphere for catching a flick.</p>
<p>Health Floor: More like a mainstream fitness center than a personal training area, this indoor/outdoor health floor provides gorgeous views of the city while swimming in the lap pool, working out in the gym, yoga or dance rooms. Relax your tired muscles with a leisurely soak in the Jacuzzi or stretch out on shaded lounge chairs. Later, chill out in the ice room, complete with simulated snow flurries. Think of it as a giant snow globe for the rich and famous.</p>
<p>Roof: If the last 26 floors weren&#8217;t enough, then check out the roof. It features a covered entertainment area with spectacular views of the Mumbai skyline and the Arabian Sea. When the heat is too much to bear, enjoy the same view from within an enclosed, climate controlled area with floor-to-ceiling windows.</p>

<p>The first session is a beautiful way to introduce the work to the body. It cultivates a deeper awareness of what is really happening, it is a place of adaptability &#038; inquiry. An awareness of more support is palpable going into the second session. The coded description of the work is &#8211; Second Hour: Support/Palintonicity (2-3-4) Bilateral Support. &#8220;The feet and lower legs are critical; you must have support for the parts above. Even more critical is the ankle and the way those joints fit into each other.&#8221;-IPR.</p>
<p>Assess lower legs &#038; the arches of the feet. The main goals are to create support for the pelvis with structures above it and lengthening the back. To create support we look at the spring of the arches in the foot and how the weight is transmitted through the foot. Rotations in Talus &#038; Calcaneous balance or inhibit the structure from aligning based on rotation/counter rotations and horizontal hinges at knees, ankles, and toes. Counter rotations between agreeable segments of the carpal or metacarpal bones deepens an imbalance in the body above. Work towards resolving asymmetries in low leg &#038; knee. After working plantar fascia, and retinaculum, test how the fibula responds in dorsiflexion via interosseus membrane, working to resolve rotations &#038; counter rotations between segments of the feet and low legs.</p>
<p>Free up restricted drifts in the tissue so that the legs &#038; feet can differentiate &#038; integrate. Dr. Rolf called this the &#8220;Body geometry&#8221;, or the natural organizing effect based upon the structures balance &#038; alignment in the vertical gravitational field. The back needs lengthening and releasing of the erectors of the back, moving up &#038; in at the wide portions &#038; down &#038; away where the tissue is narrow. Work with flat spots &#038; side bends With their associated rotations to integrate the support and palintonicity above the supported pelvis.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s great for the client to connect through the feet while seated, exploring the relationship of the&#8221; eye of the foot&#8221;. An exploration with down/up is always a profitable movement in the second session resourcing the &#8220;eye&#8221;. Rolf yoga works well with integrating the second hour work. This exercise mimic&#8217;s the movement of the foot in gait. For the neck, work the cervical tissue in the direction of correction. Slow melting amounts of pressure can be given with the client seated and work with elbows into the clients traps. With client supine, place fingers in sub-occipitals, lengthening into posterior portion. If there is time some standing tracking before finishing is great. Pelvic lift or pull finishes the second session.</p>

<p>One important fact about cravings and urges is that they will always pass. In fact, most cravings pass within with 2-5 minutes.</p>
<p>1. EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) is emotional acupuncture without needles. This mind body finger tapping technique stimulates meridian points to balance the energy flow in our body and remove negative emotions. EFT can be done both daily<span id="more-60"></span> and and when cravings are present.</p>
<p>2. Hypnosis allows you to be more in control of your cravings. It also helps reduce the intensity &#038; frequency of the cravings, and has additional relaxation benefits.</p>
<p>3. Taking some deep breaths (deep breathing) can really help you relax your way through any craving.</p>
<p>4. Repeat daily affirmations. Say them to yourself 10 times each morning, afternoon, and evening. I am Happy, Healthy, and smoke-free, or Everyday I choose to breathe fresh air into my lungs, or Today I am a proud and healthy non-smoker.</p>
<p>5. Tense up all your muscles in your body, hold for 10 seconds, then release. This technique helps take the edge off a craving or emotion. Repeat a few times if needed. You can also tense up and release your fists, arms, face, upper body, and legs one at a time.</p>
<p>6. Make a list of all the activities you will do instead of reaching for a cigarette. Healthy dis-tractors like reading a book, going for a walk, working in your garden, taking a deep breath, chewing gum, stretching, lifting weights, burning incense, surfing the Internet, daily exercise, doing some laundry, finding a support group, riding a bike, yoga, push-ups, a hobby, calling a friend, cleaning your teeth, writing a letter, listening to music, and drinking water.</p>
<p>7. Visualize yourself everyday for 2 minutes going through your day (waking up, eating, watching TV, driving coffee, working, drinking alcohol, hanging out with other smokers, feeling stressed or bored, and overcoming any situation) handling every situations as a relaxed non-smoker.</p>
<p>8. Daily exercise should help you release some stress. If you do not currently have an exercise regiment, start off by walking 10 minutes each day.</p>
<p>9. Have some healthy foods and other objects around to get you through any cravings (water, gum, cinnamon sticks, mints, sunflower seeds, fruits, carrots, flavored toothpicks, straws, stress balls you can squeeze, or worry beads).</p>
<p>10. Make a list of all the ways you are benefiting as a non-smoker and keep it with you at all times. (Healthier, have more energy, more confident, smell better, family is happier, in control, clearer skin, whiter teeth, life is easier).</p>

<p>I just took a trip to Dallas.&#160;Sitting in the airport, I was amazed at the amount of pure noise going on around me.&#160;The windows were vibrating as the loud sounds of the jet engines still managed to pierce their way through the glass.&#160;That sound was to be expected.&#160;It&#8217;s funny how your brain acts as a natural noise filter when there are sounds that<span id="more-59"></span> you are expecting, like jet engines at an airport.&#160;</p>
<p>It was the additional noise, however, that was amazing to me.&#160;Combined with the jets, a twenty-four hour news channel was blaring over my head.&#160;People all around me were talking on cell phones. &#160;Adding to the noise crescendo was the voice of an airline worker announcing the latest boarding times and gate numbers over the PA system.&#160;All of this was happening as I was trying to concentrate on writing an article on my laptop.&#160;Can you say sensory overload? Fortunately for me, I have been practicing meditation now for quite some time. Because of this discipline, I was able to filter out the noise and not let it get to me.</p>
<p>If you need to relax and gain some sanity in your life, I urge you to learn how to meditate.&#160;Guided meditations work best not only for beginners, but also for people wanting to practice on a regular basis.&#160;The reason the word practice usually precedes meditation is because it takes practice!&#160;Our senses are assaulted in our new technological age as shown by my example.&#160;</p>
<p>It takes practice to stop our minds from racing and dwelling on the never ending to do lists.&#160;I&#8217;ve found that of all the meditation techniques available, centering on breathing and practicing getting into the gap, or the silence between words, is a meditation technique that allows immediate focus.&#160;While setting aside ten to fifteen minutes every day is ideal to create wonderful clarity in your life, it&#8217;s not always possible.&#160;In this airport situation, I&#8217;m glad I had the ability to use my own meditation technique as a noise filter to not let the environment effect me.&#32;In our fast-paced world where most of us are time poor, I urge you to find the ten or fifteen minutes to learn and practice meditation.&#160;It seems counter intuitive to stop in order to be more productive.&#160;Try it.&#160;Start tuning into what&#8217;s valuable in your life and tuning out what&#8217;s just noise.</p>

<p>Every yoga video I see has someone who is pretty tone and muscular in it, yet the routines themselves don&#039;t seems as if they, alone, could give someone this kind of body (obviously in addition to a healthy lifestyle).  Are the models just that&#8211;models&#8211;who also work out and weight train or can yoga alone on a regular basis tone and sculpt ones body?</p>

<p>So I got my hands on some free yoga equipment&#8230;. A mat, ball, block, book and tapes I even bought some yoga apps for my iPhone and well I don&#039;t think I&#039;m the type of person that does yoga&#8230;. I&#039;m a 6&#039;2&#8243; 230lbs Mexican&#8230;. I can barley sit in the Indian position when I meditate (I&#039;m buddhist)&#8230;. The point<span id="more-53"></span> is I can&#039;t do 80% of the poses I&#039;m not flexable at all&#8230;. Anytips to impove this&#8230; I wanna be able to do the moves before I go to a trainer and emberres myself&#8230;</p>
